It only took another 6 minutes for France to score their fourth with 19 year old Mbappé finding the net from outside of the box, becoming the first teenager, since Pelé, to score in a World Cup Final.

Mandžukić pulled one back for Croatia as he capitalised on a mistake from the French goalkeeper on 69 minutes but it was to little to late.

Antoine Griezmann was awarded ‘man of the match’ in a game that was watched by 78,011 inside the Luzhniki Stadium, in Moscow, Russia.
