Ten of the world’s best windsurfers battled huge waves and 80mph winds off the coast of Cornwall for Red Bull’s annual Storm Chase competition on 11 February.
For most events, bad weather is a reason to cancel – but this event only gets the green light when weather conditions are at their worst. France’s Thomas Traversa won the competition with Brazilian Marcilio Browne in second and Germany’s Leon Jamaer in third place.
