The Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG) is a multi-sport tournament for the athletes that takes place every four years from Islands of the Indian Ocean. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) adopted this tournament in 1976.

The inaugural European Games were first held in Baku, Azerbaijan 2015. The second European Games 2019 held in Minsk. This multi-sport event along the lines of the Summer International Games and only open to athletes from EU. The next games will be 2023 in Kraków, Poland.
