Bethany Shriever became the the junior women’s world champion at the UCI BMX World Championships.

The Great British Cycling Team celebrated her success as she beat Saya Sakaibara with an epic finish in final 100 meters.

Bethany said “Words can’t describe it. I’m so happy, I’ve done it – there’s so much relief now.”
It follows on from a disappointing 2016 where she crashed out of the final in Colombia. Well done Bethany!
