Britain’s Paula Radcliffe marked her return to action with finishing 3rd in the worcester city 10k! The marathon world record holder 40, ran 35 minutes 49 seconds to finish closely behind Jenny Nesbit and Nicky Skyes.
Radcliffe had not ran since the Austria half marathon in April 2012 after which she was ruled out of the London Olympics and had foot surgery.
Radcliffe, a commonwealth 5,000m gold medalist, European 10,000 champion also won the London marathon in 2002, 2003 and 2005 with a world recording breaking time of 2 hours 15 minutes and 25 seconds.
She was using the worcester 10k a a way to ease back into racing before finishing her career at next years London marathon.
