It’s been a jaw dropping year this year at Wimbledon with 2 weeks of intense tennis, we’ve had tantrums, trick shots and even grass eating.. Yes Djokovic ate some of the centre court grass.

Benoit Paire took his frustration out on a line judge’s chair during his match against Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain, and promptly received a warning from the umpire.
The Frenchman went on to lose the second-round tie 2-6 4-6 6-3 6-3 6-3

As many of you heard, Lewis Hamilton was turned away on Sunday from Centre court Royal box which resulted in him missing the men’s final for not being dressed ‘Appropriately’. Lewis was turned away for not wearing a jacket, tie and shoes, after having arrived in a bright floral shirt and a hat. His spokesperson said: “due to a misunderstanding over dress code, he is disappointed to have missed the final”.
Oh no Lewis.
Now if you haven’t already seen this.. i suggest you watch.. and watch again. Former England football captain, David Beckham shows he’s equally adept with his hands after a tennis ball flies into the royal box, much to the delight of the Centre Court crowd.. and women all over the country.
The ball finds its way into the crowd after deflecting off a line judges chair during the men’s doubles semi finals.

Serena Williams beat Spain’s Garbine Muguruza to win Wimbledon for the sixth time and complete the ‘Serena Slam’ as the holder of all four major titles.
The 33-year-old American won 6-4 6-4 on Centre Court to claim her 21st Grand Slam title and third of 2015. Williams withstood a late fightback from 20th seed Muguruza, 21, to come through in one hour and 23 minutes.
Williams won her sixth Wimbledon title and her first since 2012.
Well done Serena on another year being Ladies Wimbledon Champion.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic saw off seven-time champion Roger Federer in four sets to win his third Wimbledon and ninth Grand Slam title.
The Serb, 28, won 7-6 (7-1) 6-7 (10-12) 6-4 6-3 to overtake the likes of Jimmy Connors, Andre Agassi and Ivan Lendl in the all-time list of major winners.
Federer, 33, had hoped to become the first man to win Wimbledon eight times.
The Swiss won a thrilling second set tie-break but Djokovic came through to win in two hours and 56 minutes.
A very well done to Novak Djokovic on becoming Men’s Wimbledon Champion 2015.
