First successful car backflip

French rally driver, Guerlain Chicherit, became the first person to complete an unassisted backflip in a car this week.

In his John Cooper Works Mini, he completed this feat in the snow of a French Alps resort in Tignes. The jump involved him ramping the car, flipping it 360 degrees and landing it on an 8-meter high snow mound.

this seems to be the work of energy drink Monster, seemingly trying to keep in touch with energy drink rivals, Red Bull, in their outlandish extreme stunts.

I wonder what Red Bull have in store next…
