Highlining barefoot over a railway line – is that extreme enough for you?
Highlining is a form of slacklining, some say the most extreme version and the sister of tightrope walking, it’s different because the line moves with you. Yes you read that correctly, the line moves!
Caio Salomão, a highliner from Brazil, decided to take his sport to another level by walking barefoot across the 1″ narrow strip of webbing 82ft over an active railway line.
He said: “This idea came after I saw a photo of the place taken by someone passing through on the train.
“I decided to search a little more and I was able to locate this place on the map, which to my surprise was only 90Km away from the city where I live.
