People may jump to the conclusion that the sailing and other water sports at the Olympics this year will be pretty boring, drawn out affairs and will feature some posh fella from Eaton jumping off of the boat in the Weymouth Sea with a predictable Gold Medal for team GB . ‘Tally-ho!’
Well, we have an alternative suggestion for you lovers of more extreme and less snooty sports- Canoe Slalom. This sport features sportsmen and women with great upper body strength and technique battling against the oncoming tirades of water, pushing to beat the clock and their competitors. Keep an eye out for it this summer, it’s sure to be a great watch!
